Back in High School, I was learning how to develop a video game before actually designing it. That was a bad move because I didn’t have anything I can used to develop a video game because my game wasn’t designed. So, if you want to make a game and develop it. First, you need to design it first.
You’ll need a computer, usb and usb flash drives. Go to the library, and get a book that teaches you how to write a story. Used the computer to brainstorm your ideas about characters, items, moves, skills, enemies, power-ups, etc. on a document. Then, put it on your usb flash drive. Research the skills that video game designers required, and search for YouTube videos based on video game designer skills to build your knowledge on video game design.
Also, you don’t wanna develop a game before you design it first. That’ll be a complete waste of time, because you don’t have anything designed yet.
