Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker was released on the Nintendo DS in North America on November 6, 2007. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker is a good game, but it has some problems. When you want to level up your monsters up to max level, you have to find a training spot somewhere by talking to a blue-haired guy on Domus Isle. Ask him to take you to Infern Isle, go inside the cavern in front of you, and used a Whistle spell to keep calling out monsters that are metal slime type monsters. You must defeat them to earn good exp. But, every time you whistle the monsters doesn’t always be metal slime monsters. So, you have to keep fleeing battles that doesn’t have any metal slime type monsters, and keep using the Whistle spell until you encountered metal slime monsters again.

The second problem is that, when you want to synthesize certain monsters using metal slime monsters. Scouting metal slime monsters is hard because they have very high defense stat, and the scouting percentage of your team is really low. So, you may not be able to scout metal slime monsters by luck, and most of the time. You unable to scout certain metal slime monsters because the scouting percentage is low, and when you want to scout metal slime monsters. You have to used Oomph magic, Psyche up boosts, have monsters with an attack stat of 500 or over, etc. to increase the scouting percentage. But, if you tried to increase your scouting percentage by doing all of the above. The metal slime monsters go flee from you later on in battle, so scouting them is nearly impossible.

The third problem is that if you want to max out your gold coins. You have to go to Infern Isle, and used Whistle to farm gold coins, or look up a walkthrough guide on how to farm a lot of gold coins. When you farm for gold coins at Infern Isle, the monsters there doesn’t give you any decent amount of coins to max out your gold coins faster.

Suggestions:

1. Create a simple farming spot where players can farm for a lot of EXP for their monsters.
2. Make it slightly easy to scout metal slime monsters, and increase the scouting percentage with monsters who have an attack stat of over 500.
3. Create a simple farming spot where players can farm for thousands of gold coins.
