As soon as you start an online battle, shoot or spread ink all around you by moving your Inkling in a circle, and moving forward at the same time in areas that doesn’t have your team’s ink in. This will fill up your special gauge much faster.
If you get splatted, just repeat the process over again. Just be careful not to get splatted by the opposing team while spreading ink all around you in a circle. Only do this if there’s barely any ink on the ground.
